...Sunpenny Publishing haven’t had a huge response to their short story comps which close on 30th September. I think people may have been put off by the long list of rules.
If you have got something suitable readyish to go it might be worth a look.

There are two comps; one is open and one is for Christian stories. They are looking for ‘nice’ stories so you need to think People’s Friend rather than Dark Tales!
Of course it may just be that everyone is leaving it to the last minute to enter. I tried to enter this morning, but PayPal isn’t talking to me so I’ve failed!
By the way - does anyone want a cat? At the moment he's walking across my writing desk and kicking everything in his path onto the floor! Not at all unhelpful!

I'm trying to progress the novel - three chapters now! But I can't seem to give up the short story habit!
Cat is now throwing food around the hallway - I suppose that's a slight improvement!
