And the Welshman has deemed it good enough to send. All that remains now is to work out how I can get it in before the closing date, given that there now seems to be a more or less permanent postal strike! Ho hum!

I would imagine, if they are even slightly decent, they would give a little leeway on the entry date. Get it in asap so at least it's in the system and postmarked.

I work for the Postal Service here in the US and it is illegal for us to go on strike.
Of course that doesn't help you much.

Well done! Hope you manage to get it in on time. That said I've noticed that quite a few comps have announced they're going to take a relaxed approach to deadline dates as a result of the strike so you should probably be okay.
