Some Exciting Things ...

... And some goals for November!

Today I sent off an entry for the UK Authors Opening Pages Competition.

Still time to enter if you hurry! I must admit that I've mainly entered in order to get the feedback which is on offer for a fairly reasonable fee.

Some time ago, on Cally's blog, (link on right) Cally mentioned that she'd signed up for 'The Girl In The Cafe' project. Intrigued by this idea I decided to follow her example! I've recently had an email from 'the girl' to say it is nearly my turn to take part! More news on this blog in due course!

And now October is nearly over, I need some goals for November.

I will work on my novel - I've taken a week off work mid-month so I really want to have a few days of just immersing myself in writing.

I will enter the New Writer Competition. I hit the dizzy heights of the long list for this last year -so going to give it another go.

Gosh you've got November well planned out!
I remember seeing The Girl in the Cafe when it was on TV. (Live 8/ Summit time). Quite interesting if I remember rightly.

Am interested in the 'messages' link and might give that a go as it's a 300 worder.

You made the long list last year? Bravo! You go for it:-)

November's going to be a busy month indeed:-)

It's nice to have goals for the month isn't it? Good luck with them, you sound very organised!

Lane - go for it with the messages thing! 300 words - how hard can it be!? Hehum x

Helen - sounding organised and being organised are two different things ... but I will try to stay on course! x

Helenmh - I am so impressed by how productive and organised you are...its truely inspirational. Everytime I come to your blog and read what you are working on it makes me want to be more like you! Good luck with it all!

Thanks Pacha

That's really encouraging. I have so little time to write, that I find unless I'm really organised I don't do anything at all! Whether any of it will be successful is another matter!
