The Girl In The Cafe ...

... a review

I loved the awkwardness. I loved the understatedness. I love Bill Nighy. I love Ken Stott.

I know I should make some intelligent comments about the political message; but to me it was mainly a love story that made me hold my breath.

That's it from me for a while. I will be leaving blogland for a bit. Not particularly because of Christmas, although that's part of it, more for writing related reasons which I hope some of you will understand.

I will return next year, and I will still drop into other people's blogs and leave comments if that's OK.

I'm so sad that you're leaving blogland for a bit. I hope it's only for a very short bit. I do understand though and please come back soon and please, please, please don't be despondent. Keep on writing, entering, writing.
Say hi to Smudge and yes, PLEASE keep visiting to say hi.

Love Lane xx

No, no, no, no!

Of course you're right though.

And I have to do the same.

I do.

But...

I hope you come back soon too. Triumphant, and having written lots and lots!

Good luck with it and have a wonderful Christmas!

I'll miss your news, Helen, and your writing, and I was looking forward to some more prompts.

So I hope you enjoy the break, but please don't stay away too long. It'll be good to see you back.

Dear All

Thanks so much for all your kind comments. Some of you are probably aware why I'm feeling a bit disillusioned about the whole writing thing at the moment. I will get over it - and I will be back in January. I will also be delighting and amazing you with the results of my new toy - a scanner!
