... Fact
Rachel is back in England. For all sorts of complicated reasons, she decided to leave Julian behind in France. He's got Jacob* to look after him, so he'll be fine.
Rachel's not really sure what she's going to find when she gets back. Will Hilary's dog Brandy have trashed Julian's flat? Has anyone been feeding Fleabag? And, where is Hilary anyway?**
For some exciting news about limited edition copies of Caroline's novella 'Disraeli Avenue' please pop over to Caroline's blog. *** You can see my review of 'Disraeli Avenue' here.
* soon to be renamed. We had a draw in the poll with equal numbers of votes cast for Isaac and Sebastien, so I'll have to sleep on that one.
** no pets were harmed in the making of this blog post.
*** while you're there don't forget to wish Caroline a Merry Christmas!

Ahhhhhh! Of course! Julian and Jacob! Now, it all makes sense. I'm sad for Rachel but pleased for Julian!(I still think you should go for Xavier even if it didn't win in the poll!)
Pacha - aah, an interesting thought! I can see how you got there. However, the truth is even more complicated, and even more hopeless from Rachel's point of view ...
Look into my eyes ... Isaac, Isaac, Isaac. :-)
Glad your writing if flowing so well, Helen. :-))
I still think Xavier too, like Pacha! When you're published I may even go through the whole book and cross out whichever name isn't Xavier and write Xavier ....
not that I have issues :)
Thanks for the plug for DA.
x
Missed that poll but I would have gone for Seb.
I love your beautiful table btw.
Annie - the trouble is, I still really like all of them ...
Caroline - if I'm ever published - you are very welcome to do that x
Fiona - thanks, the table is a family heirloom!
Seb is my hero in HH&S and I love the name, although I love Xavier too, of course.
I find choosing names so hard and can spend hours looking through books, film credits etc until something inspires me. Or maybe it's simply another displacement activity and I don't realize it yet.
Hmm, the plot thickens. Can't wait to see the whole picture!
I hope Fleabag has been well looked after!!
Xavier I say! Xavier!
Poor Diggory!
But Isaac was a very close second.
Your writing seems to be flying at the moment!! Im hooked already!
Wow glad to hear your writing is in full flow... Good to hear things are going well with your friend's book.
It's funny how old fashion names are coming back, myself I would toss a coin.
16 weeks until christmas, crazy I know
best wishes,
Annie
Debs - I think it can be displacement activity ... but it is important so it's excusable!
Yvonne - indeed it does!
Lane - Fleabag is very resourceful, so I'm sure he'll be fine x
Pat - I still like Diggory!
Motherx - thanks, I just need to keep the pace up really.
Annie - is it really 16 weeks to Christmas? Oh no!
