Welcome To My Blog
We'll be talking about ... writing, and how it's not as easy as it looks ... reading, and how it would be easier if there were more hours in the day ... my four cats and how cute they are (apart from when they bring disgusting things into the house) ... anything else I think is worth a mention.
Please feel free to join in.

They shall not grow old as we who are left grow old. Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, We will remember them...

Such true words, Helen.x
This year, I bought my grandson a poppy. I talked to him about the war and about all the brave men who died so that we could go where we want and say the things we want to say.
He wore his poppy right up until today and he was really proud of it, bless him.
Thanks for this Helen. I visited Verdun and the surrounding area several years ago, it was a very profound experience. I'm glad Armistice Day continues to be honoured, we would do ourselves a great disservice to forget the sadness inflicted upon ourselves.
Keep well.
Beautiful!!
